Year 3 and 4—Introductory Level Arts Award

In February, our Year 3 and Year 4 children visited the Royal Pump Room Museum and Mercer Gallery. They completed the introductory level of the Arts Award with a professional artist who will use their artwork to create a local map showing key features of Harrogate’s spa history, which will be available for visitors to take. Arts Award is a recognised qualification awarded by Trinity College London which supports children and young people to grow as artists and arts leaders. It starts with “Discover” level, which our children have achieved and this week they all

received an official certificate from Trinity College London. We are so proud of their hard work!
